And Let's not forget about the other Deplorables

Today's deplorable legislator and man-most-likely-to-be-caught-in-a-hotel-room-with-an-underage-guy:

State Rep. Jared Patterson’s bill, HB 1155, requires schools to disclose all information related to students' mental health information to parents, which exposes children to being forced out of the closet by school officials and adds language to the state’s education code that would restrict the instruction of topics on sexual orientation and gender identity.

I'm sorry, but this guy looks like the pudgy kid from junior high school who got beat up every day at recess.

Matt Schlapp gay? I'm shocked. Aaron Schocked, I tell you. :ROFLMAO:

He has always rung the bells for closet case. The fuzz on his face isn't the only beard he's hiding behind.

But groping a staffer won't bring him down. We need the receipts from the hustlers he has likely been paying all these years.

I ran into these guys far too often at work and they were always conservative christian republican types. The term "made my skin crawl" was exactly what happened to me. I always wanted to take a mental bath and get rid of their stench after hearing their creepy shame based garbage. They thought their "wink wink" we're all in the same club closeted bullshit was going to "convince me" to join them and their wives for some "fun". BARF YUCK :bartshock :bartshock :bartshock

The receipts are coming.

Schlapp is a Reagan-era "laissez-fairy" whose wife (Trump Staff Picks post #873) worked in the Trump White House as an enabler. It's like James Corden... you know he is because every time he opens his mouth, a Chanel clutch bag falls out. We called this one out (along with the Bachmanns and the Severino marriages) a while back.

LBJ was once quoted as saying, “You know the difference between cannibals and liberals? Cannibals eat only their enemies.” I think we're going to be seeing a lot of liberal-style cannabalism on the Right, as the Right, Alt-Right and Far-Right tear each other to pieces. It will be ironic since Schlapp has been a wingnut enabler and Trump sycophant and it's time that someone opened his closet door.

Is he even capable of giving credible testimony anymore, even under oath? He may be too addled by now ...
I'm not sure whether alcohol-related dementia is enough to get him out of trouble.

Especially since he was well enough to go to Mar-A-Lago for NYE.

No bankruptcy shield for Alex Jones. In all the pre-Christmas, Christmas stuff I missed this, but I suspected it would go this way.

Houston Judge Christopher M. López reportedly ended a stay preventing Sandy Hook families from collecting a $1.5 billion judgment against conspiracy theorist Alex Jones.

:rotflmao:

"Mehmet Oz ended 2022 with his U.S. Senate campaign committee more than $27 million in debt, per a new FEC filing," Levinthal reported on Twitter. Furthermore, he added, "Most of the money is owed to Oz himself, and it's unlikely Oz will recoup much (or any) of it."

Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

And a connected story...

This is a story of note because this is the same attorney defending the Proud Boys in their sedition trial. He's asked the judge to allow him to continue as the Proud Boys attorney. :##:

Apparently, there was also some altercation with the judge, but I didn't read that article. Funny how all of these guys have the same lawyers. I bet that means no one competent is interested in defending them, and or they don't have deep pockets.

...“He’s pissed I didn’t follow him to his hotel room,” wrote the staffer to a friend, who is not planning to disclose his identity unless Schlapp continues to deny the allegations. “I just don’t know how to say it to my superiors thst heir [sic] surrogate fondled my junk without my consent.” The friend then reportedly replied, “What a f**king creep.”...

Rapists, liars, and crooks - OH MY! At least it wasn't more pedophilia. It's funny to think that this garden-variety predatory closet queen is one of the lesser sinners in the GOP.

How does the old saying go?

...Democrats and their women, Republicans and their boys..

Or the same dark money is paying for the lawyer.

I wondered about that too, but then there is the fact that the dark money is defended by the competent - the same people who abandoned the toad when his cray got impossible to spin. I know that lawyers have a bad reputation, but that doesn't mean that lawyers generally don't care about their reputations - especially when it might get back to the Bar Association.

Could be both, but I don't see Peter Thiel spending cash on poor lawyers who can't maintain security, breach confidentiality, miss filing deadlines, and get into yelling matches with sitting judges

It may be just me, but to me sounds like little professional interest in defending deplorable racists with ridiculous assertions.

Speaking of deplorable Bigots.

A Florida man was violently arrested after he was accused of stalking and harassing a gay couple who live next door...

This is what happens when you give the haters permission to hate. At least we haven't fallen far enough that nothing was done at all. If the trogs have their way, we'll all be back there in 1950 in the middle of another pink scare.

...Democrats and their women, Republicans and their boys..
Republicans and their rentboys, you mean.

This stuff goes back to the Reagan era, back when Bob Gray was stage managing the Reagan White House, Terry Dolan was running the National Conservative Political Action Committee during the day and picking up leather tops at the DC Eagle at night, Bob Bauman was picking up boys at Chesapeake House, and the Reagan-era conservatives kept "Friendly Models" in business.

There's a reason there were so many nicknames for the closeted gays that were all part of the "Reagan revolution".

Schlapp was one of the queens that came from the Bush years. They eventually get too comfortable and they get caught.

I have no idea why we have to be reminded of this booze soaked, druggy, pill pusher...but:
