Each faces charges of luring a child with a computer for a sex act.

Neal Harrison Creecy is a minister at Redemption Church in Las Vegas. He believed he was making arrangements to have sex with a 14 year old. He posted $100,000 bail and was released.




And it's not just the Christians... Tom Artiom Alexandrovich, age 38, is an Israeli government cybersecurity official. He is accused of attempting sexual contact with a decoy who acted like a 15-year-old girl.

There's something going on in the manosphere that does bear watching. The pandemic seems to have escalated a Religious Revival period in the US. And the far right groups are taking advantage of it.

During the pandemic, I watched a lot of the guys at my gym open OnlyFans accounts, get very involved in drugs (everything from anabolic steroids to microdosing mushrooms to using meth) and turn rightward in their politics. A few even dared to wear pro-Trump paraphernalia to the gym.

Since the election, they've been slowly deleting their OnlyFans content, posting sobriety and 12 step content on their Instagram and mentioning God and Jesus quite a bit.

We've already seen guys like JD Vance go from a secular moderate to a far-right Catholic (minus the social gospel theology). Campuses have very active Turning Point USA chapters, which are polite versions of White Christian Nationalist activist organizations.

Since Vance is allied with Thiel, this increasing interest by Thiel and Vance in religion is a disturbing turn of events. Thiel has a history of intellectual contortion- on one hand, libertarian, religious but on the other hand, there's those rumors about the sex parties with his husband, the "kept boys" and other tawdry behaviors. It's unclear whether Thiel is saying that AI is the tool of the AntiChrist or whether he's saying AI is the AntiChrist but the fact that all 4 of his lectures about the subject have sold out should be a warning sign of things to come.
