QAnon supporters are in shock and disarray today according to several news stories I read this morning. Inauguration eve was supposed to be the moment when a Triumphant Trump was going to sweep down with the US military and execute all the traitor Dems and Liberals. Now they are struggling to come to terms with the impossible.

The most hilarious theory I've seen in the chats so far: Trump was not at the inauguration because he secretly kidnapped Biden and had himself surgically altered to take Biden's place. It's all a part of the plan to lull the Deep State and traitor Dems into a false sense of security! :rotflmao:

^ That's a good trick, because the guy at the podium giving the inaugural speech did NOT sound like Donald Trump at all and, in fact...and this is what's so utterly amazing...he sounded exactly like Joe Biden! Wow, how did they manage THAT?

As for "the other Deplorables"...I was utterly in shock when I saw the lists of pardons and those given clemency. I think I counted 137 names. (It wasn't on the news very much, being overshadowed by other stuff, but the Guardian ran a full list.) I was mostly in shock for who was NOT there:

DONALD TRUMP. (No, he didn't try to pardon himself.)

I may have skipped over one of these, or something, but I didn't NOTICE them. I was sure that all of these (though not all that sure about a self-pardon) would have happened.

A Florida man knew he was wanted by authorities for being at the US Capitol riots but returned to Washington, DC, to attend the inauguration, the Justice Department said in a court filing Thursday.

Samuel Camargo, 26, was arrested Wednesday in Washington, prosecutors said. The name of Camargo's attorney wasn't immediately available Thursday. He has not yet formally entered a plea.

Camargo faces four charges related to the January 6 riots that include civil disorder; knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority; knowingly engaging in disorderly or disruptive conduct in any restricted building or grounds; and violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds, according to the criminal complaint.

In fairness, the three deplorables are out on bail pending trial and are innocent under the terms of our Constitution. It's a false equivalency to compare her to a convicted felon... although they will soon be joining the ranks of the felons.

Also since they weren't all pardoned, you're going to see an acceleration in the DOJ actions in charging hundreds, perhaps thousands, of the deplorable rioters.

I'll believe it when I see it. Not going to hold my breath that the time they serve (if any) would be equal to a BIPOC who committed the same type of crimes.

No you won't. No matter what, you are going to complain. No matter what the DOJ does, no matter what Biden does, you are going to complain.
 
What does this have to do with Biden? My comments have to do with systematic racism in our justice systems where BIPOC are generally treated harsher with the law than their white counter parts.

From inside the world of epidemiology, Dr Birx had a sterling reputation as a public health official working in global infectious disease management in the Army and US diplomatic corps... before, that is.

A 20 year career ruined by less than a year of working with the Mango Menace.

It's a cautionary tale for those Republicans hoping for an endorsement from Trump in 2022.

The article clearly states he attended designated training that resulted in him being given a "Ranger" insignia on his uniform, which may not be the Ranger Division, but is a type of Ranger nonetheless.

He was unquestionably a decorated veteran serving in the theaters he cited, so semantic parsing of his Divisional status looks like desperate hacking.

He would receive not one vote less from anyone who was voting based on his military service.

As for accusations of lying, that would need to be backed up with some sort of evidence of him specifically claiming to be in the 75th. Until and unless that is proven, interpreting his words to mean that is pure, or should I say, impure propaganda. The hate continues.

He was in the U.S. Army, he was designated a Ranger through formal training, and his uniform said so, and he served in the campaigns referenced. His military service was a public record, and when he ran from office, he was fresh out of the service. There wasn't any need to gild the lily.

Madison Cawthorn [R-NC] was recently elected to replace Mark Meadows' seat in Congress. Seems that he also has a habit of overstating things in his rather thin biography.
