The problem is that many school campuses are multi-building; so, which ONE door would he select to arm and armour? Also, as he very well knows since the state legislature approved the building code, that multiple exits are required from any space and any building over 3,000 square feet (if I recall the number correctly).

Abbott did send a recorded greeting to the NRA convention attendees, however. That recording was played for the convention likely while Abbott was doing an in person "victim services" meeting in Uvalde. Cognitive dissonance.
