Trump contacted the Wisconsin Assembly Speaker LAST WEEK to decertify the 2020 results.

After he was told no, he started posting Robin Vos is a RINO on social media.

This man is delusional and dangerous.

For fuck's sakes Americans.

Stop him now.

A former Alabama pastor who admitted to having inappropriate relationships with young boys has been handed a lengthy prison sentence, News19 reports.

John Thomas Martin pleaded guilty to three counts of first-degree sexual abuse back in June 23. He was sentenced to serve 10 years on each count.

They are always hiding in plain sight.

At least in prison, he will have no end of cock.

Need a voter's guide on which U.S. House members to vote out of office in November?

Here are the 157 House members (all Republican) who voted "no" on marriage equality:

^ One of the 47 republicans who voted for it was Ann Wagner of Missouri's 2nd District. I am totally shocked. Wagner has been a hard-line Trump republican all along. Her vote surprises the heck out of me. For once, she did the right thing. I wonder if she has some gay family who are married.

I'm in Cori Bush's district, btw.

From the Ted Cruz Factory of Deplorables and Blithering Idiots:

Meet US Rep Troy Nehls (R-TX). In 2020, he won his district, TX-22 by 51%.

He had his 15 mins of fame this week in a hearing with Sec Buttigieg:

This is the quality of candidates that gerrymandered districts bring you:

One person not be supporting the [protect gay marriage] legislation is Florida Senator Marco Rubio. He told Punchbowl News reporter Christian Hall yesterday that the bill addressed a “non-issue” and there was no need to take steps to protect same-sex marriage.

“I don’t know why we’re doing that bill, there’s no threat to its status in America.

“But I know plenty of gay people in Florida that are pissed off about gas prices,” he added.

Oh look, little Marco has decided we are just not concerned!

...Right now, a half dozen cases on everything from insurance coverage for HIV prevention to employment discrimination and same-sex marriage are wending their way through state and federal courts here [in TX]. Their outcomes could radically alter rights for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in Texas and across the country.

The lawsuits all have one thing in common: former Texas solicitor general Jonathan Mitchell.

Best known as the man behind the state law that allows Texans to file civil lawsuits against people who help pregnant people get abortions...

Just in case there were any of you left who think Dobs has nothing to do with us.

Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO). In the Thursday hearing of the Jan 6th committee, a video was shown of Hawley pumping his fist in solidarity with the insurrectionists before the rioting began. This was followed by a clip showing Hawley running in the Capitol hallways to flee from the same insurrectionists he had cheered on earlier.

Interestingly, the audio feed from the hearing room was cut when the Hawley video was displays. This is a clip from the room and you can hear the people in the committee room laughing.

In his defense, Hawley needed to run because he was late for his testicle tanning appointment.

Colbert joked Hawley's "skeedaddle" with Chris Hayes @ 2:00:

Adam Kinzinger✌️
@AdamKinzinger

Worth remembering: Josh Hawley was the first senator to say he would object to the electoral college, causing a cascade of Ted Cruz-es. There would not have been as much oxygen to trumps coup plan without Fistpump McRunpants.

Now...try the fucker for treason and seditious conspiracy.

^ So is he now going to be forced to comply with the subpoena and testify? A guilty verdict is meaningless if he isn't forced to testify under oath.

No. A Congressional subpoena isn't the same thing as a criminal subpoena. He was Convicted for criminal Contempt of Congress. His sentence will be punitive not coercive, in other words, they can't keep him locked up until he squeals, nor can he get out by talking.

...But he's not locked up yet.

That's not what I mean. He was convicted of defying a congressional subpoena. He may get his jail time or whatever. But doesn't conviction of contempt for defying a subpoena, mean that he also has to comply with the subpoena and do what he was convicted of refusing to do? Seems like it should. If he doesn't have to testify, Bannon wins, even if he's in jail. And that sucks.

He wasn't convicted for defying a congressional subpoena, he was convicted on two counts of contempt of Congress. Congress has no criminal or even Civil jurisdiction. They can't force someone to talk.

Frankly Bannon is useless anyway, anything that he didn't lie about he'd just refuse to answer.

In our last episode...

Oh noes. Maddie's in more trouble!

Cawthorn Campaign Illegally Spent Funds It Wasn’t Supposed to Touch [Daily Beast]
With two weeks to go until a primary election he was fated to lose, Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC) was already underwater. His campaign held more than twice as much debt as it had cash on hand, the donor well was dry, and he and his staff were months into a madcap spending streak that one campaign source called “baffling.”

And now, after indeed losing that primary, there’s no money to pay the piper.

Specifically, there’s no money to repay the supporters who donated hundreds of thousands of dollars in advance to Cawthorn’s election efforts beyond the primary—to the general election he now won’t be competing in.

Cawthorn is required by law to refund those donations. Instead, according to a campaign source, the campaign already spent the money.

Thoughts and prayers for Maddie.
