What we all said would happen, has happened. Twitter has descended to a far-Reich, fascist, Nazi, hell-hole of hate, propaganda, and vicious, violent disinformation.

Before Musk started moving around the deckchairs on the Titanic, Twitter was losing money- big time money - $221.4 million in 2022 and $1.14 billion in 2021.

Public pressure needs to be on advertisers to take their ads off the platform. There's not enough rubles and riyals to keep Twitter afloat.
 
Elon was playing shady games with the stock market and got burned. He never wanted to buy Twitter - he bought up a bunch of stock, SAID he was going to buy Twitter - then sold when the stock went up; for which he's under SEC investigation because that's illegal.

The Twitter Executive class knew a lifeboat when they saw one and forced him to buy Twitter, at a high price, which ultimately tanked Tesla stock in the bargain, costing Elon in stock selloffs (to fund the purchase and secure the loans) and lost value something like over a hundred BILLION dollars.

AND that pesky investigation continues. It's a rare case of KARMA coming for Elon.

Now Tesla shareholders are suing to make him repay something like 40 billion.

I think that may have been true during the Billy Graham/Jerry Fallwell Sr period of Republican politics. But this is 2022, where being a swinger in charge of Liberty University is okay, or being a former-escort Congressperson married to a sex offender is blasé and where their Cheeto Jezus admits to sleeping with pornstars and grabbing women by the pussy.
