When I had my cocktail hour shifts and there was no loud music I used to try to force everyone to vote and tell them why it was important and if they brought me their voter stub I would buy them a dink.

They knew I was liberal and a Democrat but in order to be fair I had to do the same thing for the Repubiicans if they voted as I didn't tell them who or what to vote for.

I had to hear from them how they supported the briggs initiative and it made me ill having to listen to it from gay men.

Way back they were all gung-ho about one of the Bush Jr. elections, I want to say the first, but maybe the second, and they were all over the gay community in Austin promoting how inclusive the right really was and they were going to have booths at the conventions and dedicated tables at the fundraisers and if we gay men donated, we could all get a ticket.

They were denied a presence at the convention, and the RNC REFUSED to take their money. How much contempt does the right have to have for you, to get them to refuse to take your money?

This statistic didn't sound right.

Turns out Customs and Border Patrol doesn't keep specific numbers on whether drug smugglers were citizens but media organizations and think tanks have been able to estimate that about 86% of fentanyl seizures have been a) border checkpoints and b) involve US citizens smuggling drugs across the border.

And Fox has been lying by trying to make it sound like it's illegal immigration that is responsible for drug smuggling.
