The same Kash Patel that Trump appointed to be Chief of Staff to Acting Secretary of Defense Christopher C. Jordan went off on a tangent with a sob story about how the FBI fired these guys (um, they were fired for cause by the FBI) and how the former FBI employees had no income and needed to "feed their families".

I don't know why no one has pointed out that the Republican plan to cut 60% of the discretionary budget would include a work requirement to get welfare funds. So, if you get fired from your job for... say, losing your security clearance, stealing documents from an FBI server via a USB drive, giving unauthorized interviews to Sputnik (the Russian media outlet) or refusing to participate in a court-ordered arrest of a Jan 6th rioter... well, you won't be able to depend upon welfare to help feed your family because you aren't working.

If you lose your job after Republican budget cuts, call Kash Patel and ask for a donation.

Yesterday, the US Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals heard arguments on the mifepristone decision from Matthew J. Kacsmaryk that was appealed from the US Federal Court. One of the judges on the Fifth Circuit, a Trump appointee named James C. Ho was particularly rude and antagonistic to the female attorney representing the Biden Administration. James C. Ho used to be the Solicitor General for Texas, serving during Greg Abbott's reign of terror. For reference, Sen Ted Cruz is a former Texas Solicitor General, too. Ho is connected to the First Liberty Institute which Ken Paxton, the Texas Attorney General, has heavily recruited attorney from to staff the Texas State Attorney General's office.
