Another Republican obsession at the State level is to relax child labor laws. In this new Republican dystopian world, the unborn have protections but once they are born, we can work them for cheap labor.

In Iowa, children down to age 14 can now work 6 hours until 9PM, so they leave school, have no time to do their homework but they can flip burgers and make enchiladas all evening, instead. And they can serve alcohol at age 16, because what could possibly go wrong with having having high school kids handling alcohol.
