Chi Alpha World Fellowship is an Assemblies of God campus youth organization. Assemblies of God is the largest Pentecostal denomination in the United States. CAWF has about 300 chapters on American campuses. CWAF's stated purpose is to help young adults connect with Jesus.
Some of the chapters apparently wanted to make connections inside students' pants. According to authorities, Assemblies of God ministers working in CAWF "groomed" young men and boys. The abuse goes back decades.
