I have a question: the article describes Kilmeade as looking "stunned". Kilmeade looks stunned all of the time, as far as I can tell. Exactly how could they tell a difference between his "stunned" look during the interview vs his "stunned" look baseline?

Nine Republican senators voted against the stopgap funding bill that avoided a shutdown at midnight today. This wasn't a solution. The stopgap bill just kicks the can down the road for another 45 days.

No surprises about who the 9 "no" votes were. These 9 are permanent members of deplorable list.

The short-term funding bill passed the House on an overwhelming, bipartisan basis in a vote of 335-91. 209 Democrats and 126 Republicans voted yes, while 90 Republicans voted no. Just one Democrat, Rep. Mike Quigley of Illinois, voted no - primarily as a token protest over a lack of Ukraine aid in the resolution.
