And Let's not forget about the other Deplorables

^ A lot of them were disturbed predatory men who were playing out some other form of predatory fantasy...only this time, molesting the guards, police and political figures in Congress.

There is a study paper in here somewhere to see how many abusers, both sexual and just physical turned up to attack the Capitol that day.

There was not one mentally normal person who participated.

Glad the fucker is in jail.
What explains the Republican members of Congress, many of whom were in the Capitol chambers on Jan 6th, who sat silent when a blanket pardon of an unknown number of people was issued by the President on Day 1 of his 2025 Presidency... and said nothing when these goons were released from Federal prisons within days of the pardon?

That they were all mostly complicit in the attempted Jan 6 Coup attempt.

That is what it says.

I don't know if I would say, "All". There's a handful of far-right members, mostly from southern states, who were part of the effort to overturn an election. They were never held accountable, which is one of the big problems now in the United States. It's why Miss Lindsey got her tits all tied in a knot when it came out that Jack Smith had collected phone numbers for the people Trump was calling in December, 2020 and January, 2021. Miss Lindsey knows that it's going to come out that she was a coup plotter.

Two things happened since 6-Jan-2021: Miss Lindsey had to run for her life when the Capitol was invaded and Miss Lindsey had to run for her life at National Airport when a few of the mob confronted her in a public hallway. Now, Miss Lindsey is back on the golf course with Dear Leader and back at Trump's table at the Mar-A-Lago Superbowl party, living the best life that a 70 year old alcoholic queen could hope for.

These days, politicians have no shame. Voters make excuses for them. No one suffered consequences for trying to subvert our democracy.

It may be the the problem is circular. The low-level useful idiots who bought into Trump's election lies were charged and either pleaded guilty or were found guilty by a jury. Trump was allowed to pardon them, and now they're part of the hoard who threaten the people who did make an effort to hold them accountable.

I'm beginning to think that the only way to fix all of this is for every possible Republican in Congress to be thrown out. However, looking at what is going on in the Senate primary over in Texas, I fear that the replacements might even be worse than what we have today.

As I said...mostly.

But their complicity was not necessarily in actively helping the insurrectionists...their complicity was in hoping that it would work and then mostly remaining silent and not calling Trump and their colleagues out on it...for not pushing to have charges laid against Trump himself. Their silence was more than consent.

We also forget that guys like Ted Cruz and Paul Gosar were actively trying to prevent the Congress from certifying the results of the Presidential election before the goons descended upon the Capitol.

Something similar had happened in 2000, when there was controversy in the election results. A small number of Democrats objected to the certification but the presiding officer, Al Gore (ironically), wouldn't have any of it.

The insurrection happened really because Trump's pressuring of Mike Pence was doomed and the efforts of Ted Cruz and company was similarly doomed. Almost all of the guys involved in the effort were re-elected and those who had stood up to Trump (e.g. Flake, Corker, Romney) are mostly out of office now. The riot on Jan 6th made us forget about all those other coup-plotters.

It's a sickness and it is a sickness that infected the base of the party first, and has since spread to every spineless sycophantic Republican member of Congress. Even the ones who show some spine- like Thomas Massie- ultimately vote with the White House on every vote.

On February 10th, this Ohio State professor assaulted a cameraman during a post-lecture interview. It's pretty horrific. He's on suspension while it is investigated, but I'm gonna go ahead and put down my $20 on TERMINATED.

Video in the article. Shameful attack.

Comedian Matteo Lane has a joke about Oprah's horcruxes- a Harry Potter reference where an evil witch stores a piece of their soul in an object in order to attain immortality. Because of this, we're stuck with Oprah's horcruxes: Dr Phil, Dr Oz, Gayle King...

And João Teixeira de Faria. De Faria is Oprah's "spiritual healer". He's also a serial rapist who is accused of sexually abusing over 600 women.

Caleb Flynn, 39, a former music minister who was a past contestant on "American Idol" was charged with murdering his wife and covering it up.

In a 911 call released by authorities, a frantic Caleb Flynn tells a dispatcher someone broke into his home and killed his wife. He says she was shot multiple times in the head and he doesn’t know whether the intruder was still there.

Authorities allege that Flynn shot and killed his wife. He then called 911 and said that a burglar had broken into his home and shot his wife three times in the head. His wife, whom he met while both were attending a Christian college in Tennessee, was a well-liked coach in the school system in their Ohio town. The locals created a GoFundMe to collect money for Flynn and his two girls.

It's apparent from the 911 call that Flynn's story did not make sense. He was arrested last week and assigned a $2 million bail bond.

TIn a follow-up to an April, 2023 post, Rev David Walther of Texas was convicted of possession of child pornography. In Sep, 2023, he was sentenced to 70 months in prison.

David-lloyd-Walther.png
The Texas minister who pleaded guilty to child pornography charges is now being sued by 14 of the now-adult women who were depicted as minors in the CSAM materials. David Walther had over 100,000 images and over 5,000 videos of children.

On February 3, 2026, 14 women filed a civil suit against former Texas pastor of Faith Baptist Church, David Walther, 56. The suit comes after Walther’s 2023 guilty plea to an “enhanced charge of possession of child pornography.”

In the criminal investigation, law enforcement found over 100,000 explicit images and 5,000 videos of children—labeled child sexual abuse material (CSAM)—stored on two different hard drives. Some children were found to be as young as 3 years old. After law enforcement identified some of the victims in the materials and notified them in July 2023, 14 elected to confirm they were children who had been victimized.

The plaintiffs in the civil case each identified themselves as being younger than 12 years old at the time of exploitation in the materials in Walther’s possession. The plaintiffs seek $150,000 each in restitution, a set amount of liquidated damages under federal law 18 U.S.C. 2255. While the victims are seeking the full amount of liquidated damages, $150,000, the courts may also award punitive damages in addition to this amount.

And in Arkansas, a pastor is being sued for 20 years of sexual abuse by a minister that began when she was 16 years old.

Arkansas Assemblies of God Pastor Sued for Sexual Assault

Plaintiff claims Rod Loy regularly sexually abused her starting when she was 16.

Another lawsuit has been filed against an Assemblies of God church and its pastor for sexual abuse.

Suzanne Lander, a resident of Texas, filed a lawsuit on January 26 against Pastor Rodney Loy and the North Little Rock First Assembly of God. Lander claims Loy sexually abused her for a 20-year period from 1996 when she was 16 until 2016 when she was a 36-year-old woman....

In the fall of 1996, Lander claims that Loy began his sexual abuse, initiating touching of her genitalia and eventually allegedly leading to rape.

According to Lander, Loy “combined sexual abuse with continued inclusion of Plaintiff in his family events, giving her money, helping her find scholarships for youth activities, and daily phone calls. [He] told [Lander] that God expected her to allow him to rape her and that followers of Jesus performed sexual acts for the men who were their spiritual leaders.”

This case is significant because the Arkansas legislature passed a temporary exception to their statute of limitations on child sexual abuse. Arkansas courts have invalidated the exception as being unconstitutional which may result in the case being dismissed.

The lawsuit is brought under a “lookback window” statute passed by the Arkansas Legislature that allows child sexual abuse victims to bring civil claims that would otherwise be barred by the statute of limitations. Lawsuits filed under the “lookback window” had to be filed by January 31.

Another church employee recording children in bathrooms- this one was the President of the Central Illinois District of the Lutheran Church.

LCMS District President Arrested, Charged With Child Pornography

Michael Mohr was also a regent at Concordia Seminary.

The president of the Central Illinois District of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod was arrested on a federal child pornography charge on Wednesday, January 28, and appeared in court on Thursday.

Michael William Mohr, 54, is accused of producing child pornography and will be held in jail until trial after he waived his right to a detention hearing. He lives in Springfield, Illinois...

According to an affidavit filed in the case, investigators found storage devices at Mohr’s home in Springfield that contained videos of three juveniles in the bathroom. A search of another home used by Mohr in Vandalia revealed two hidden cameras — one disguised in a clock and another in a Bluetooth speaker.

The affidavit says the investigation began after a juvenile reported finding a hidden camera in a hotel bathroom, disguised as a charging device. The juvenile also alleged that Mohr had stood over him and masturbated the night before.

He's not a drag queen:

And a pastor of a central California church had to resign after he was caught taking pictures of women's butts at a local Trader Joe's. The incident happened 5 years ago and was covered up by church officials.

Rev Rick Olmstead was allowed to continue as pastor and continued working with female congregants in spite of the allegations.

The church Board of Directors that kept a pastor’s misconduct from its congregation in 2020 says it didn’t know the full story.

Former Lead Pastor Rick Olmstead at Arise Vineyard Church recently resigned after old rumors resurfaced that he was caught taking inappropriate pictures of young women at Trader Joe’s five years ago. The situation was dealt with internally at the time.

While not considered serious enough to disclose to the church’s congregants, it did warrant a counseling and response plan that stipulated Olmstead “not be alone with teens or young women associated with the church.” Taylor Berns — an employee at Trader Joe’s in San Luis Obispo in October 2020 who also worked as an intern at the church, known at the time as Mountainbrook Church — verbally reported to another former pastor that Olmstead was caught taking nonconsensual pictures of college-aged women’s backsides in a pandemic social-distancing line outside Trader Joe’s, following the women around the store and appearing potentially intoxicated, events which she did not witness but her coworkers did.

More missionaries and megachurches...

Harvest Christian Fellowship is a megachurch in Riverside, California that is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention. The church conducts services that have about 15,000 people in attendance each week. It has four separate locations across California and in Hawaii.

The ministers at the church are involved in a scandal involving sex trafficking of orphaned boys in Romania. Ministers Paul Havsgaard, Greg Laurie, and Richard Schutte are accused of sexual abuse, physical abuse and sex trafficking. In addition, Havsgaard's family members have accused him of decades of sexual exploitation and rape of family members.

Another megachurch involved in sex abuse of children in their care. Mark Barclay operates a megachurch ministry in Michigan. Several pastors in his church, including Barclay's son, have been charged with sexual abuse of children.

Former members of Living Word Church in Midland speak out following sex abuse arrests

Dan and Dana Stahl, former members of the Living Word Church, started attending in 1990. They initially helped in the church nursery, believing they were serving God. However, recent events have led them to feel they were misled.

The allegations of sexual abuse began with Church Elder Brandon Saylor, who was charged in 2023 with sexually abusing four children. Saylor was sentenced to five to 15 years in prison.

"And then it snowballed," Dana Stahl said.

Brandon Saylor's father, associate pastor Randy Saylor, is also facing charges related to sex offenses involving children. Pastor James Randolph, the son-in-law of Mark Barclay, is accused of sexually assaulting a girl years ago. Both Randolph and Saylor are currently on leave from the church.

Third ex-leader in televangelist Mark Barclay’s church convicted of child sex abuse

A third minister with Living Word International Church in Midland, Michigan, founded by televangelist Mark Barclay of Mark Barclay Ministries, has been convicted of child sex abuse charges in the last two years.

Last Thursday, 73-year-old Randy Saylor, a former associate pastor of the church, pleaded no contest to 11 sexual assault charges involving victims younger than 13, ABC 12 News reported. He is expected to serve a minimum of 10 years in prison before he is eligible for parole. He will also have to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.

The pedo ring that QAnon was so worried about was EpsteinCo....but these churches are running a close second.
