...And what's in your garden?

My philodendron is blooming:

This is how it looked last year, but this year it has more blooms.

What kind of tomatos? I have Celebrities, Rutgers, and Big Boys. Peppers too. I'm going to try peppers next year in those planters.
I am growing Cherry, Roma, and....um....some sort of regular sized ones. I think I threw the seed package away. #-o Oh well, who cares as long as they're yummy! :gogirl:

Maybe I'll try peppers in a planter too. Only problem with planters is that they dry out so easily.

Yeah, with these, you have to water often. I'm anxious to see how they do, though

ooh I like a gardening thread...right up my alley! But, only having a north facing balcony I have my limitations #-o

I'll post some pics as my flowers grow....

I love north facing spots to plant. You can get some great hostas, ferns, azaleas, begonias, etc. LOTS of great folliage to grow there. It's a lot of fun to play up the different colors of leaves and textures. Even one big pot stuffed with those is drmatic. In fact that can be more fun than trying to keep things blooming and it's a lot faster and the effect lasts all season. If you want blooms, try some fuchsia, tuberous begonias, or impatiens. I also have a new find; a bush clematis that likes shade and blooms in blue. My personal favorite is to do them all in white blooms. They look great with all the green on a north side without a lot of light.

Good luck and post some pics.

Gardens are too much trouble. If God had put Adam and Eve in the living room of Eden things would be a lot better.
Yea, but then he probably would have been allowed to have apples and remote controls would have been off limits.

I have Big Boys. .

Mmm, imagine as summer is coming to it's end and those plump
tomatoes are hanging low....their vines strained by the weight of the juice just aching to burst through.....

Man, that's good eatin'.
