Five-year-olds have smartphones?![]()
Their parents do and their kids often know more about the workings of the phone than the parent does.
I hope you're not that out of touch.

appears if you can't understand how a phone works that a 5 yo works with ease ... maybe you are too old to have one.
I've had iPhones since they came out -- you can never go wrong with an Apple product.

What's a VCR?
Another person with SUCH insight. I mean, I don't expect much from a racist, but still. Insight!

Grr you youngsters!![]()
It appears you can't read: it's the fact that I DO understand but am pissed at the poor functionality and idiocy in programming.
The five-year-old is too immature to know that the item is deficient.
Fam, I don't care if you designed Windows. Your opinion doesn't mean anything if you call something a piece of shit and then go on to be mystified by the "missed call" icon.
My job is 50% humoring people's "issues" with their "broken" phones when I could be devoting time and resources to the people who have legitimate problems. Forgive me if I don't have enough patience for it when I'm not being paid to do so.
Maybe you're not smart enough to figure it out.
However, I sincerely doubt that you'd ever even consider that because of your perceived superior intellect.

I'm sorry you need a smart phone to be able to track the Bammer.
I have a dumb Samsung that, aside from not being able to manually assign speed dial #s, I am comfortable with.
I use the voice dial - gets the wrong one sometimes, but usually pretty good. I found out that speaking more slowly improved the hit ratio.
I do load some e-mails on my phone - then I can e-mail pics to my e-mail account or to my wife, etc.
I can also e-mail friends a text message if need be.
That comes in handy when coordinating appts with other family members all at once.
The pics I e-mail from the phone are ones that I take with the phone - it's the easiest way to get them to the PC.
I love the highly technical way that mine transfers..... Step one: Point phone at PC. Step two: press onscreen button to transfer pics on phone. Step 3: PC receives pics. At least that's how it used to work. Then I decided to have my phone auto-backup all new pics to my PC whenever it comes in range.
