Animals

Something else occurred to me. Perhaps the animals couldn't care less about the music. They just know when the guy comes out and plays his instrument, that they're about to get fed, so they gather around.

It's very possible they enjoy it, or that they are entranced by it as a stimulation, but not admire it quite as we do. I'm sure there are animal behaviorists who have done brain studies and can tell us.
 
Cattle are particularly keen on classical music. Not the heavy stuff like Wagner. More the lighter stuff of Mozart.
