it does seem there is a trend on YouTube of people playing violins, French horns, and such, for cows and other barnyard animals. The animals seem to be listening and enjoying the music, if you can make that determination from the videos. I guess some people would say that apparent appreciation by the animals reflects some sort of purity on their part.
It's very possible they enjoy it, or that they are entranced by it as a stimulation, but not admire it quite as we do. I'm sure there are animal behaviorists who have done brain studies and can tell us.Something else occurred to me. Perhaps the animals couldn't care less about the music. They just know when the guy comes out and plays his instrument, that they're about to get fed, so they gather around.
I've noticed they seem to enjoy the Moozak in elevators more than we do.Cattle are particularly keen on classical music. Not the heavy stuff like Wagner. More the lighter stuff of Mozart.
