On a serious note, it now becomes more obvious how some whales get beached.

Get in too close, get distracted by a hunt or lolling, and the wrong wave can carry you onto the sand, where you'll perish. Scientists usually blame it on getting disoriented, which makes sense when a pod beaches, but I'm not so certain on individuals.
 
How can hippos be SO terrifying when grown, and so adorable when babies?
