If you're seeing yellow, there's a chance your monitor is skewing color, or that you have cataracts. My sister just had them removed, and she commented on how much better things look and not as yellowed.

I guess it is possible the finish has an off-white shade, but I think that's the effect of reflecting the ground and paving.

Looked at it on two phones, a tablet and a desktop - all looking like brass.

Googled and found a lot of photos and people referring to large 'golden' balls.

The statue is bronze.
