Thankfully for me though, the guy here that I find the most intellectually stimulating just lives in the next time zone. We're both on the same side of the planet. So that does increase my chances a lot bit.

Or when the conclusion of every single member that visits their thread is "don't do x, it's stupid/insensitive/unnecessary", then one person will come in and say "nah, I think you should do it!" and the OP will reply saying "thanks everyone! I'm going to do it!".

Don't post with the pretense of seeking advice if all you're really seeking is an accomplice.

But again, they often work behind the screens, via baiting PMs or baiting comments, so I don't know if there were any around so obviously seen since a misfit came along

You have GOT to be kidding me. Anyone who is considering suicide needs to talk to anyone they can before committing an act that they cannot take back. We may not be able to physically stop them, but it's possible to talk someone off a ledge, even on the Internet. That's why we have a thread pinned to the top urging people to stop and read if they are suicidal.

The problem is some people abuse the pity by making fake suicidal threads. I personally think that is what Dan is pissed about. Suicidal issues are serious business and some people toy it around until people no longer know who's on the edge of the skyscraper and who is playing game crying wolf.

4) People that say they are going to "ignore" you, yet interact with you just the same and basically respond to your comments through other people because they're too juvenile and silly to address you directly.

5) People that "ignore" you or for whatever reason dislike you, yet participate willingly in your threads and contribute to them and your discussions with others whenever they pop up.

No, you are not ignoring me. And you clearly like me very, very much. Drop the facade. It makes you look even more pathetic.

Exactly. I don't understand we have to be mean to each other all the time. Whatever happened in that thread, stays in that thread. Unless there is some kind of consistent hostility, you don't to be a dick in every thread with that person.

People shouldn't take disagreements at JUB very seriously.
