Obviously Jack means Meil Patrick Harris, but I always thought Meil spelled it with an "n" (I don't want to say that with any certainty though because I'm not sure I have the proper paper backup required to satisfy the Widow Grimshaw if I get "called out")

Good point, but I still don't know who Springer means by MPH other than miles per hour. Same goes for Melissa Perry when it's Melissa Harris-Perry on MSNBC. Melissa Perry must be Matthew Perry's sister but I don't know why he'd be slamming her.

He obviously doesn't know who he's criticizing.

As for Grimshaw, don't be concerned about him. He's the resident gadfly. Damn, it's Summer in Sydney. I'd be outdoors on Bondi beach instead if sitting in my tiny flat on the internet. And at 4:30AM I'd be asleep.

If Melissa Harris Perry was white and said what she said, that person would be accused of racism and their career at MSNBC would have been over.

A person like that wouldn't work at MSNBC. They would be have their own show on the Fox News Channel.

You're right. I watched the video and she didn't say anything negative about the adopted baby. In fact, she called the baby "gorgeous".

We are talking about the political worldview that so little understands actually offensive remarks that they threw a friggin fit over Kerry merely acknowledging that Cheney's daughter was openly gay. The entire right reacted as though Kerry had just proposed throwing her into a fire or something over and it that they simply could not BELIEVE how offended they were by his saying so.
