Hey Cure...
First mate...congrats on your progress...
But... and its a big one... please be careful with your eating habits. versatastic is right... eating one meal a day is not a good idea.
I understand that its hard while you live with your parents but you have to try and get some sort of balance in your eating... not only to lose weight but to be healthy.
Whats happening right now is that your body thinks that its being starved and in "famine" mode... so literally everything you put in your mouth it stores as fat simply because it thinks it might not ever get food again because its so long between meals. Its a device to help keep you alive buts its robbing you of your goals... and over time your health.
The reason that bodybuilders and the like eat 6 small meals a day is simply to convince the body that it will be fed and looked after so regularly that it can just burn up whatever it gets with out the need to store... in other words it helps to raise your metabolism.
But thats almost impossible for anyone to manage especially someone in your position.
So try to get your hands on small snacks during the day... Fibre like fruit and vegies is good and help you feel full so hit them if you can, but in addition you actually need something with "guts" in it... carbs and proteins to stop your body storing whatever you give it.
A quick fix is milk. Its not perfect by any means... and some people can be a little intolerant to it... but if you cant find anything else drink a glass or two of milk in the mid morning and mid afternoon. Its got protein, carbs and good fats. Make sure you drink full cream as the fats in it actually help promote weight loss and those are removed in skim or trim or diet milk....
Breakfast cereals are cheap... try to eat your equivalent to something like weetbix
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weet-Bix
that will help fill you up...
As for your chest mate... push ups are awesome... try the variations on the theme though...
Feet elevated push ups for upper chest
Chest elevated (use 2 chairs) for lower chest
Wide hands space for outer chest
Close hand space for inner chest
Do a few sets of 10 for each for an awesome workout!
Hope some of that helps mate!
