Anybody Else Annoyed At the Flight Attendant?

So, a flight attendant alleges that a woman hit him in the head with luggage (accidentally) and he in a fit of rage escapes through the emergency exit. And somehow this guy (gay BTW) is a celebrity.

I find him annoying. Like Star Jones said, if he had a Muslim name this story would have a different tone.

I didn't know he was gay when I first heard about it. It immediately struck me as the type of news story that has no relevance to me or my life. And then I see the news channels on TV proposing that this incident be a metaphor for the economy. Ugh. OK, so you've forced something unimportant to be relevant to me. What's new?

And then I found out he was gay. And I stopped being angry. Now I just hope he's OK, and hope something good comes out of the media attention. This is, of course, debatable.

I'm glad an openly gay man is in the news for something other than being gay. Just like my mom found it relevant because she hates what she calls "stupid people," I learned to find it relevant because he's gay.

I don't know why I would admit that, but. It's true.


And for your poll, I'll say "I Don't Care", since it's still not of any life-shattering significance to me.

She got up while the plane was taxiing to the runway, which is unsafe for her and others. He tried to tell her to sit down, and she hit him with her bag, causing a bleeding head wound. I haven't heard that it was accidental...but that's what happens when you get up when the plane is still taxiing!

Charges against him should be dropped. Charges should be filed against her (it's a felony to assault a flight attendant on a plane).

Alot of media are reporting this story wrong. They say that the confrontation with the passenger did not happen until after the flight. Actually it started before the flight; that's when she injured his head and first said "fuck you".

Witnesses are now coming forward saying that he looked disgruntled during the whole flight and he was the problem. Well duh, that's because he had an injury on his head, had just been cursed at by an uncooperative passenger, all while having to kiss all the passengers asses during the flight.

Dude flipped out because someone didn't listen and ended up hitting him in the head with their luggage, that is something that could end up pissing anyone off on a bad day. Race seems pretty irrelevant.
