i actually didnt know what had gone on for like a day before i actually read the story. my thoughts is that he did what everyone working a crappy customer service job really wants to do at some point. would i have done it? probably not.

I didn't know he was gay when I first heard about it. It immediately struck me as the type of news story that has no relevance to me or my life. And then I see the news channels on TV proposing that this incident be a metaphor for the economy. Ugh. OK, so you've forced something unimportant to be relevant to me. What's new?

And then I found out he was gay. And I stopped being angry. Now I just hope he's OK, and hope something good comes out of the media attention. This is, of course, debatable.

I'm glad an openly gay man is in the news for something other than being gay. Just like my mom found it relevant because she hates what she calls "stupid people," I learned to find it relevant because he's gay.

I don't know why I would admit that, but. It's true.


And for your poll, I'll say "I Don't Care", since it's still not of any life-shattering significance to me.

What the hell has his being gay or straight got to do with it?
