Apparently, your brain resets the memory when you walk through doorway

I have a tendency to misplace my smart phone, due to this I have a habit of checking to see if I have it near me. I have found my self looking for it while speaking to someone on ... my smart phone.

Reminds me of a friend who begged me to help him find his glasses. He was frantic, running late..... and as he asked for my help he absentmindedly reached up and adjusted his frames on his nose. Took him a moment, then he reached back up and removed his glasses to look directly at them. Then, with a sheepish grin he apologized for his language and put them back on.
