We had a big storm yesterday dropping 3 inches of rain on us. It stretched from Georgia to south of Tampa.

Well, I seem to be completely over my cold, and I'm feeling pretty good. I'm supposed to meet my friend later today, we'll see if he's gotten over his cold.

I'm eating mangos from my tree every morning. Unfortunately, several diseases have been showing up in Florida in recent years, that make the fruit go bad quickly if you don't eat them right away, even after refrigeration.

Working in the garden is a chore. I always wait until after 6, or even 7 if it's too hot. I've been breaking down my mowing over two nights. I mowed the front yard Sunday night, and the back yard last night. I also cleared out some clumps of tall grass (over 3' high) that were threatening to overtake some shrubbery.

RM, that stud looks like he can't wait to peel off those shorts for some hot action! *|**|*:drool::sex:

Gary, I didn't think you'd do something like a Japanese rock garden out in the desert, where you rake beautiful artistic patterns in the rocks. However, when I do it, the rock patterns just look like a mess!

It has been afternoon rains for a week and then last night they stopped as if they knew that fireworks were going off.

I had a mostly quiet 4th. The suburban community shot off fireworks, and I can see them from where I live. They didn't last long, though. Five minutes into it they had the grand finale, and it was over. I don't know if it was a mistake, or they just didn't bother to spend the money on a decent fireworks display. I was thinking it was like a premature ejaculation. Fun's over, kids!
