Good Friday morning, Billy and Paul!
Well, I got bored with my routine so I did something different yesterday. I went on a short road trip. Two hours south of me, on the other side of Miami, is this place called Coral Castle, where an eccentric carved all these monuments, obelisks, and walls out of many tons of oolitic limestone rock, and no one seems to know exactly how he did it. It was a fun place to visit, but the sun was brutally hot, which you'd expect in Florida at this time of year.

After that I went to a famous fruit and vegetable stand. I was waited on by this cute little country boy with green eyes, who shared playful shoulder bumps with his young black coworker. They're also known for their tropical fruit shakes. I had a mamey shake, made from the delicious mamey sapote fruit, which is a deep salmon color. The shake tasted like a blend of watermelon and maple syrup.

I will say that it was a long drive, with traffic congestion and tolls. It seems that Florida never met a toll road they didn't like.
