Gary, I did get some things done Monday, though I'm retired. I did my research and sent in my ballot for the Florida Primary. I also wrote out a couple of bills, and so on.

RM, I did read Wicked some years ago, about the life of the WWOW. It was so long ago I only remember parts of it.

It's been a good day. I went to my local LGBTQ community center this morning for their coffee clatch. They had a trans woman speaking today. The politics in Florida has gotten really ugly lately.

We've been having thunderstorms for the last three afternoons. Yesterday the rain really came down, flooding the swales in front of my house, and the water went up into the sidewalks and out in the street. I guess it's making up for most of July and August so far, which tended to be pretty dry.

Hope everything is going well for you.

Slowly but surely I'm getting things done. I had a nice beefy electrician come in and install two new light fixtures in the kitchen and bathroom. Now I can see at night without having to deal with that annoying flickering, or no light at all.

My neighbor is giving away her washer. While I appreciate it, I'm suddenly experiencing anxiety. Will I be able to move the new washer in, and the old one out? What am I going to do with the old one? I hope they have a hand truck I can borrow until I get everything moved around.

Weatherwise, it has been so hot and muggy that I just don't want to do anything. It hit 96 Thursday with a heat index of 106, and it has been in the 93-95 range with 102-105 feels like temps all week. There's lots I have to do, both inside and outside, but I don't feel like it.

I know what it is like to have no energy to do much. Just 7 years ago I use to unload a whole track-trailer by myself. Now I would be happy just to clean my bedroom. See if you can find a handy man service that can move the washers and haul away rthe old one.
