Speaking of washers, my neighbor said she couldn't bring the washer over yet because her husband has Covid (again!!??)

Billy, I might have to take up your suggestion to get a handyman, or at least hire a lawn mowing service. I mowed my front yard the other night, but I couldn't do the backyard, because I was too worn out. I don't want to hire a lawn service, because they whack down everything, cutting down your prize rose bush just as surely as a weed. But I'll probably have to break down in a couple of years, realizing that I'll lose a lot of plants, and I can't have anything interesting out there. Plus, this year I've noticed that when the summer heat starts getting to me, I feel a little queasy in my stomach, which has never happened before.

Gary, it's still hot and muggy, going up to 92 every day with 103 heat indexes, though I'm sure it's still a bit worse for you out in the desert.

Gary, your hot weather hanging on sounds a lot like Florida weather. We've still got at least a couple more months of our hot muggy weather. We usually get a bit of a break around Halloween if we're lucky. But now we're going into the peak of the hurricane season. Let's just hope they stay away.

I'm sitting here trying to think about what I want to do today. There's a lot that needs to be done, but it's too hot to really do anything.

They keep forecasting 50% chance of rain every day, and have been since Wednesday, but the weather has been stubbornly dry here. I did finally get out and fertilize my fruit trees, but haven't done much else.

I need to get a few things done outside, but it is soo humid it gets put off. I usually have a local handyman perform outside work, but he has become very unreliable and hasn't showed up recently.

The cold water was a reasonable temperature early this morning leading to a good shower. At the end of our hot sticky days, I wish the water was reasonable for a good shower, but it is just too hot.

I finally got out and rode on my bike, on a trail in a remote area I had to drive to. My neighborhood is a tract house development, so you sort of end up going in circles if you ride there, and I'm in an urban area, so riding on busy city streets is no fun. But it was good to get out in the woods and swamps.

The washer from my neighbor is now on my carport. I couldn't remove the old washer though, because one of the intake hoses is stuck in the open position, so I can't disconnect it without a flood. Oh well, more challenges!

Christian, that hot stud is waiting for some action! I'd certainly like to have a session in bed with him! *|*:drool::bj::69::sex:

Billy, I'll probably tackle the washer and plumbing situation in a day or two. I've been getting a lot of repairs done lately, with the replacing of my refrigerator, the installation of two new light fixtures, reconnecting my landline, etc., and I feel like taking a mental health break from it right now.

It finally rained here several times late Sunday night and Monday morning, and again early Tuesday morning, so I'm happy about that. I had spread fertilizer around my fruit trees last week, and I needed the rain to dissolve the fertilizer into the ground.

We are replacing our stove, above stove microwave and fridge. Will be done on Saturday.
