The weather has been good here, sunny, with warm days in the upper 70s, and chilly nights in the 50s. It's supposed to get cold over the weekend, but nowhere near as bad as Christmastime. Besides, it will be sunny with no mention of rain, a bit more typical of Florida cold snaps than the soggy cold weather over the holiday.

Well, it's a crisp, cold morning here in West Palm Beach, at 40 degrees. I brought in a few tender potted plants because they issued a frost advisory, but so far I haven't seen temps get that low here. It should warm up though, since it's sunny and it's supposed to warm up starting tomorrow.

It's funny you take care of your plants. I do it too, since I've grown very fond of gardening. Earlier today I took an interior plant outside to make good use of the rain. Tomorrow I'm taking another one out.

It's good to grow and enjoy your plants, Paul! I brought my potted papaya seedlings in the other night in case it got too cold, since papayas are cold sensitive. And I found out once that potted plants can be adversely affected by the cold, while the same plants established in the ground will be unfazed by the same temps. They were already struggling, and I found that the dirt in the pots was bone dry when I took the papaya plants back out. I'm going to plant them out in the yard in a few weeks, just waiting until we get past the cold risk period.

Dan, what is that hot stud doing out there, nearly naked in the snow? :eek:

Christian, that guy doing squats has some powerful muscles. I've got something he can sit on and work those muscles around! *|*:sex:

Here are a couple of pictures of an amaryllis currently blooming on my patio. I dug them up to save them a couple of years ago. They were in a bad spot, and would eventually disappear where they were.
