Araucaria Appreciation Thread

Good afternoon, John. I hope you're enjoying the weekend.
A horny guy texting about sex sounds good enough to me ;)
We don't need to rush things, or to always expect something else IMO.

Hello Johnnie I hope that you have a pleasant new week later :band:

I also hope that you and the dentist get to have raunchy fun pretty soon (*k*)

Take care buddy

Good Wednesday morning, Matthew, Paul, and Frankie! (*8*)

I met up with the dentist, he gave me TWO Viagra tablets, and let's just say that we had an afternoon and evening doing things that I thought at my age were well behind me! He is a bottom, and he knows what he wants and how to get it.

And yes, he keeps sending me all these texts about how horny he is. As for talking about other things, we did go out for a pizza after our session, and he did talk about his family, his parents, brothers and sisters, how he has a teenage niece, and apparently it falls on him every once in a while to drive her to her friends and shopping and social occasions.

Very good!

So, does it seem like he might be someone enjoyable to spend time with beyond the bedroom and shower? (Meaning, potential boyfriend material as opposed to a fuck buddy.)

Hi Johnnie , I'm glad you're having fun with that dude . Just be careful with the Viagra , imo you should have your own tablets , and take them progressively take 50 mg first and start the action . If it's not working well , add another extra 50 mg , stay hydrated ... you could split your own 100 mg tablet in two ( just a suggestion )

You know what works best for you

Have a pleasant Thursday later (UU) (*k*)

Happy Saturday John! (*8*)

Good Tuesday morning RM, Frankie, Matthew, and Paul! (*8*)

Well, I haven't seen the dentist since last week, because he has been sick. He said the doctor told him he had a sinus infection, and this was after he had a substantial nosebleed the last time we got together (he previously used poppers a couple of times when we had sex. I wonder if that had something to do with it). He texts me with all that talk, and I wonder if I should get together with him, or just let him convalesce. I get the feeling that if we get together, he'd want to have sexual activities with me no matter how bad he feels, and that wouldn't be good for him getting well. Which sort of puts me in this weird position of wondering if it's better to be with him, or it's better to hang back and let him rest and get better, no matter what he wants.

In other news, I paid a friend from the Prime Timers install a new door handle for the carport door at my house. I've decided that I'm going to have to get my front and back doors replaced. The locks don't work right on either door, they're starting to warp from years of being exposed to the rain, and they all have jalousie windows, neither of which open and close properly anymore. In addition, I've had some of the glass slats from the front door fall and break. So I'm having Home Depot come out and take measurements and give me an estimate.

Not to mention that he could transmit bacteria to you. I've had lots of sinus infections, and you don't want one. They're very uncomfortable and often rather messy. (Ew.)

Jalousie windows can seem like a dandy idea -- until one realizes (from bitter experience, more often than not) just how many different parts they have that can break.

Hello Johnnie , in my view , you should wait until the dentist gets over his health issue so you can keep on having fun . You may not believe in astrology , but just in case I wanted to mention that Venus is in retrograde mode since July 23rd .
If it's possible for you to postpone your house modifications , I'd suggest you'd rather wait until September 20th as Mercury goes in retrograde mode pretty soon ... therefore , it would be more ideal to do modifications and high price investments starting from September 20th ( it's just a suggestion , one can swim against the tide and make things happen anyway when one feels determined )

Thanks for writing to me buddy , I hope you have a fun evening and a good night's rest later

Good evening, John.
I hope you had a good week and will soon meet with your dentist.
Home renovations suck. I should change my closet doors (one of them is falling apart) and I'll try to do it myself, but everytime I get discouraged by the time and effort

Good Saturday morning/afternoon, Frankie and Paul! (*8*)

I'm supposed to meet up with my dentist friend later this morning. We previously scheduled it, but he texted me saying he feels a bit better, but still not completely well, so I'm waiting to hear from him, to see whether our meeting is a go.

Thanks for the astrological heads up, Frankie! It would be great if I could put off the door repairs until late September, but we're getting into the height of the hurricane season here in the Northern Hemisphere, and I'd like to have secure doors just in case one happens to head my way. Also, I now have some missing slats in the front door window visible to the street. I'm fortunate to live in a low-crime area, but I'm afraid it could advertise easy access to an opportunistic thief.

Paul, I agree with you that home repairs and renovations are a pain. I live in a 65 year old home, and everything is breaking down or deteriorating. In addition to the doors, the rest of the windows in the house are all jalousies, and half of them no longer work, so I have a major and expensive project coming up with them. In addition, both the exterior and interior badly need to be repainted, I need a new washer, and ... should I go on?

Hi Johnnie , I understand , the renovations cannot wait . Everything should go fine as long as you're sensible and finicky with the staff who will work on the modifications

I wish you the best of luck

Have a pleasant weekend my friend

Good morning, John. I hope you have a great week despite all the work at home (*8*)

Good Friday morning/afternoon Paul! (*8*)

Well, I spent three days this week on the phone with Apple Support, trying to deal with issues on my laptop. They tried to get me to download an updated operating system, but it kept failing, and they thought a virus protection system might be part of the problem, but it was like a vampire, I couldn't kill it no matter what I did. Then I got the new system to download, but the installation failed. Finally I checked my emails, and when I tried to shut down the computer, it asked me if I wanted to install the new operating system. I said "what the hell," clicked on it, and took a nap.

I was in a near-panic when I woke up. There was nothing but a black screen, except for the Apple symbol and a slowly moving time bar, and my laptop was very hot to the touch. Uh-oh, I'm afraid that my computer is fried, and I've lost everything I saved on it. Well, I went ahead and ate dinner, and when I came back, the iconic island in the Pacific of the Catalina OS was gone, and there was the orange screen of the Ventura OS instead. And so far it looks like everything-- word files, porn pics, saved user names and passwords to sites like Just Us Boys-- are all there (I saved everything to the cloud). I did some spot checking. It will probably take months to make sure I didn't lose anything, but doing some spot checking, everything looks good so far. And so far it does look like the update did solve the problems I was having. The result was fine, but I think I would have preferred to take the laptop in, and have the Apple techs go through all that crap to get the job done.

Well, I saw the dentist on Saturday, and again yesterday, and he has been quite enjoyable in bed, though we only had a couple of hours yesterday. It seems we're getting together once or twice a week, and that's fine, though eventually I think we'll have to spend some time outside of the bedroom doing other things and getting to know each other if it's going to grow past being just a fuck buddy thing.

As for the work on the doors, it's still another week before they can come out and do an estimate on them.
