I've been blown away here sometimes with the way that people attack porn stars, talk about them as if they're garbage, act like they're not human and say things that make my head spin.

I must admit that I question the character of those involved in the porn biz... I recognize that my quest for porn isn't driven by my finest attributes.

Odd that I have no qualms against exhibitionists who do porn because they love the attention... and yet I am somewhat disgusted by those who sell access to their loins for cash... it just strikes me wrong.

I think those that would look down on porn actors are few here, however it should be pointed out that the majority of people are good people. It's just an awful lot easier to see the bad guys.

Most of those who look down on them would happily go down on them, though. Such is the modern world.

It's the same world that treats prostitutes as sluts and scum, despite all the good work they're doing in religion and politics , and despite the fact that while they're being paid for it, the other person is happily paying (surely therein is where we uncover the real sluts). The same world that has men like Ted Haggard and Larry Craig disparaging gay people, condemning us as immoral.

I have no respect for those in the adult industry who exploit young men and women for the sake of money. Sex is a very personal act and can be quite damaging if you're not psychologically ready for it, especially if you're being filmed doing it. It's easy to see why a lot of porn stars have either ended up taking drug overdoses or have become hooked on drugs, it's a vicious cycle. Having said that, there's many wonderful porn production company's who make astoundingly good porn and who pay well too. The men in these films clearly love sex and love to be filmed doing it, I see no harm in that.

I don't look down on porn guys but I wouldn't date them or take them home to the fam either. I'm a bit jealous anyway and it would bother me that they had screwed around with so many people. I also wouldn't be willing to explain their career choice to my friends. I love watching it though and I'm glad that there are people out there who are willing to strip down for the camera.
