I don't care for spiders. The little spiders that don't harm you, or the daddy long legs (I don't know the actual name) are cool, and if I find them in my house I just bring them outside. Now if we're talking a Tarantula or a Brown Recluse and any other crazy ass spider I'll scream and run. The bugs I really hate are Wasps and Hornets/Yellow Jackets. I was stung as a kid and have been traumatized ever since. It's sad really.
The irony is that Wasps and Hornets/Yellow Jackets are the natural enemies of many spiders. They usually sting them, encapsulate them into their nests, either paper or mud, and when their young are born the spider become Wasp food!
I use to be afraid of spiders, but living in the country you have to get use to them. I'm no longer afraid, however the last thing that a Brown Recluse, or a Black Widow sees is the heal of my boot.
All of the others usually get scooped up and put outside.
