When I face death in the face, then that's when I'll be afraid.

When there's no choice but to face up to our approaching demise our fear becomes redundant, and a waste of what ever time is left to us to experience our journey of a life time.

Never be side tracked by fear when knowing that our fears are self destructive, and guaranteed to short circuit our life.

Death will meet us, soon enough without fear hitching a ride to drive us in to a early grave.

I'm not afraid of the death part, but I'm not ready to stop living. I'm enjoying my life too much to be ready for it to end. But if it has to end at some point, I'll face it without regret.

Yes, and I think it is perfectly normal to fear it. It's part of what makes us human. It doesn't mean we should let it consume our lives though; but it can help us to enjoy life more and even motivate us to take better care of ourselves.

I can't say I'm particularly enthused at the prospect of eternal oblivion, though it's hardly a perennial concern. I would, however, be disappointed if things were to end soon.

No I'm not afraid at all. Once you're dead you're dead. That's it. Game over. Playstation off!

I don't want to die but I don't see the point in fearing it. I don't believe in 'the afterlife' so how would you be the wiser of it anyway?
As Jason said, we were born to die!:P

Couldn't kill myself when I wanted to; won't worry about it now that i'm still here.

No not afraid afraid to die. There are days it would almost be a relief
Whenever the time comes that I'm done hopefully it'll be more like turning a light - quick & simple

Personally I have more fear of things like going senile or being injured / unable to move / etc .. I'd much rather be dead than any of those...

I'm not afraid to die.

I'm far more afraid of dying old, frail, forgotten and alone.
So I try to get as much living in while I can.

Would you be surprised?

I am much more afraid of dying while I owe stuff to a lot of people (which happens about three months out of the year - most of winter, and usually briefly in late summer), or leaving behind far too much for anybody to handle, than dying itself.

I am terrified of dying and never seeing people i love again , i live for my friends

I am afraid of leaving stuff undone for the ones I care for if I die before my time. As for dying itself, the big release, then, hopefully I'll have a painless one. Else, if I go in agony, I won't be a happy bunny.

It's much more easy to say we are not afraid when we are still young and healthy. Based on my interactions with the elderly, I have observed that security changes as we age.
