My partner's birthday is the day before, so almost every year we forget all about Valentine's Day. The last time we even came close to celebrating the day was a couple of years ago when we were recovering from the previous night's hangover in Amsterdam and the hotel we were staying at had a fancy dinner special. Since we did not want to go anywhere, we ended up staying in and having dinner at the hotel's restaurant, it was a great dinner and the staff treated us like we were the only people in the room. It pays to tip well.

I'm an elementary school teacher...of course I am!

But my Valentine is lives in Toronto, Ontario, Canada! :D

That was fun in elementary school where everyone was handing out Valentine's to everyone---went home with a whole pile of Valentine cards lol

I prefer to celebrate Half-Price Chocolate Day on Feb 15.

No T no shade, just felt that this sounds familiar, is it a recycled quote?

Not that I know of. I was at work last night and typed out exactly what I was thinking. If it's a copy of what someone said it's purely coincidental

I'll call my mother and tell her I love her. Otherwise the poll is a no for me. Just reminds me of everything I've lost since 2012. :(

No...and I made sure my BF knew that soon after we met.

I would not be compatible with anyone who expected me to celebrate any holiday actually...

I dislike anytime I am expected to feel a certain way...

....luckily he felt the same way.

I'm not even sure for this year. My guy is blowing hot and cold.

I know you're partnered. And you're still bitter. ;)

I'd like to call it "righteous indignation". But hey, tomato, tomatoh.

You don't think I only associate bitterness with being single, do you? You do know who you're talking to, right?

It must have slipped my mind. Perhaps you should send a present my way this year. Or better yet, to my partner. :)

I work in a supermarket and I can get to em first... NOTHING gets between me and a half priced bon bon!:p

Hooray for Half Price Chocolate Day (!)

I plan to hit both the King Soopers and the Wally World at a reasonable hour on Feb. 15 and pick up several bags of Valentine-themed treats to put in the big jar on my desk for my employees to snack on. I'll hold several more back until the next Half Price Candy day on April 21 (the day after Easter).

LOL, right ?

Im not really celebrating too much. I bought candy and I have been periodically handing it out to people that I know. That was kind of fun, people like sweets and it puts smiles on their faces (Even though its premature of me).

On the actual day I have off of work but I need to complete some annoying paper work. Ill try to get this done very quickly so that I can get home and binge on Netflix and the leftover candy.
