i'm not going to tell you my age, but i will tell you that i'm forever going to be 27 years old.
that was the age that my life changed forever.
that was the age that a drunk driver hit my car and killed my guy and sent me to the hospital with brain trauma and years of recovery.

do i have an old soul... i think i do also. i find that a compliment, it means that i learned from all the shit that's happened to me.

not just the accident but all my friends that died too early in their lives because of aids and other diseases. it means that i remember them with love. and i miss them so much.

suffice to say that i am old enough to remember aids when it didn't have a name yet. just a gay cancer.
