I mean.. he was there for a job, he was getting paid well, he flew to LA knowing what the job would entail... so when the time came, he just... went through with it. I was Captain Kirking it.. (going where no man had gone before) so he had to get used to the idea but it's not like I had to coerce him into it right there on the spot. That's what he'd signed up for.

No. They're not. That's just them acting and knowing what needs to be done. We've covered the "they must be bi" argument already but the answer is "there is no other reason than money." They do it because it's quick, easy money.
