What's the kinkiest thing you've ever filmed?

Depends on your definition of Kinky.

But I shot about 10 Titan Rough movies (that's 3 scenes) so I've shot a LOT of kink content. Fisting, sounding, electro torture, clips, suspensions, ropes, toys, flogging, mud wrestling, water sports.... you name it.

Why Jasun rather than Jason? Have the character and adventures of the most famous Jason and his crew--the Argonauts--influenced your image of yourself and your aspirations?

Cause when ya(Ja) see his cock you see the sun.

Now I wait for my check from Jasun patiently on the mail.

So, what was the budget on that thing?

As just a bit of trivia: The most expensive porn ever had an 8 million USD budget: Pirates 2: Stagnetti's Revenge. A non-explicit cut of it was also released as a low-budget action movie.

I honestly don't know. At the time, that was way above my pay grade (I was just a contract working day-player whose original job was to shoot blog footage and a possible "making of" feature).

But if someone told me they spent over a couple hundred thousand dollars, I wouldn't blink an eye.

Jason and the Argonauts was one of my favorite movies as a kid. I also loved Sinbad and that type of movie. So yeah... probably.

As far as the U instead of the O, it's just spelled wrong. When I was born, Jason/Jasun was a pretty rare name (I was born in the 60s) and it wasn't until I was about 14 that I been heard of someone with the same name as me.

^ I almost helped deliver a friend's baby who was named Jasun way back in 1974. The first time I saw your name it brought back memories of Jan and driving her to the hospital....I only hoped that he would grow up to be a porn producer.....

YES!

I'm so glad that you remember Jason and the Argonauts as well as Sinbad. One of my favorites has to be Guy Williams in the 1963 version, "Captain Sinbad". Please tell me you remember this one!

Guy Williams as Sinbad is in a sword fight with an evil King. When Sinbad stabs the King, he does not die because He Has No Heart! The King's heart was removed by magic and is kept away in a secret tower - no one can kill him for as long as his heart remains in the tower.

Jasun, the scene where Guy Williams finds the secret tower, but the King's heart is guarded by a giant robot hand - one of the most outstandingly fun scenes in the entire Sinbad series. If you've never seen this movie please get ahold of a copy and share it with friends. One of my all time favorite films when I was a kid, lol.

How many requests to become a fluffer do you get?

I mean, everyone jokes about that. But I actually have had people ask me how much a fluffer gets paid and I actually have had a few serious inquiries as to how one becomes a fluffer.

So... let me be very clear when I say...

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A FLUFFER. THEY DO NOT EXIST. THAT'S AN URBAN LEGEND. THERE MAY HAVE BEEN SOMETHING LIKE THAT IN THE 70s ON STRAIGHT SETS BUT THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A FLUFFER ON A GAY SET. THEY DO NOT EXIST.

(although we did have a couple guys bring their girlfriends when they were straight and having gay sex so they could get/stay hard enough to finish the scene)

It's been a long time since I've seen those movies. I'm sure I saw all of them but I might have missed one.

Oh man! That screws up my bucket list.

Well, I was a fluffer on gay sets in the late 60's, 70's and 80's. We were only shooting 8mm loops then but it was real to me. I was also a bottom extra since they could also count on me to want to set fucked. Thrilling to stand in for the "star" who decided the "other side" was to big. Sorry, to disagree.

I have heard about that occasionally happening in the early days before videotape meant you could just keep rolling and get what you could. But not in the modern day. That doesn't happen.

I have a few questions if you don't mind:
1 How did you get into directing porn?
2 Did you have to go to school like a mainstream director?
3 Have you ever worked with Topher Dimaggio? What's he really like? Everyone says he's a diva but he seems so polite kind and gentle.
4 Why is it so hard to find movies of some stars like Marc West, Brandon Kent, and Jay Taylor?
5 When you are shooting in a bath house are they still open or are certain areas ie Locker room, showers, steam room, sauna closed.
6 Why is it the stars hardly ever play in their underwear? and when they do Why are the bands rolled down so you can't see the brand? (kind of have a fetish if you hadn't guessed ;))

1 How did you get into directing porn?

I started with a small studio in Toronto called Bedfellow as a video editor and worked my way through a couple other studios always knowing that I wanted to direct for a big studio. Took me about a decade to get there but I did.

2 Did you have to go to school like a mainstream director?

Yes, I went to York to study film. I do a lot of mainstream video and film gigs on the side. Most using a different name or things that don't require a name like shooting commercials or doing post on How-To videos... things like that.

3 Have you ever worked with Topher Dimaggio? What's he really like? Everyone says he's a diva but he seems so polite kind and gentle.

I never say bad things about porn stars I've worked with. IF they're really great to work with, cool, nice, fun... I'll talk about them. This is why you will never ever hear me talk about the time I worked with Topher DiMaggio.

4 Why is it so hard to find movies of some stars like Marc West, Brandon Kent, and Jay Taylor?

some studios don't keep their catalogue in print. They release once and forget.

5 When you are shooting in a bath house are they still open or are certain areas ie Locker room, showers, steam room, sauna closed.

I've never shot in a real bath house. Any scene done in a bath house is actually a set built in the Titanmen studio.

6 Why is it the stars hardly ever play in their underwear? and when they do Why are the bands rolled down so you can't see the brand? (kind of have a fetish if you hadn't guessed ;))

Because we usually don't have the rights to have the logo in our movies and don't want Calvin Klein to sue us :)
