  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Ask the Pornographer (Mark III)

There's a dildo factory in my back yard and they dont' like the smell of the silicone curing.

So they're all up in the front yard. But what I've done is decided to just attract butterflies and hummingbirds so I don't drop seed at all.

(I'm not kidding about the dildo factory. the guy who occupies the house on my back lot is a sculptor who works making sex toys.)

Do you know how to get rid of that nasty Dildo smell? I have a cyberskin one that doesn't stink, but I recently bought a docjohnson one that's absolutely horrid. The smell even stuck to my bed sheets.

I haven't been asked... I would.

I didn't know you had one.

Sorry if this was asked before, as I'm sure it was, but:

How many of the "straight" guys in gay porn from your experience are actually straight? Pretend those categories have any validity to them.

Have you ever stopped a shoot because it just wansn't "working" between two models?

And is there anything you do to enhance chemistry or do you just hope it is natural?

I mean.. you have to pay the models anyway so you can't just.. stop the shoot.

but there have been times when I've told guys to stop... give them a pep talk and then start again. Today I directed a scene with two guys.. one was straight but the gay one is one of my favorite porn actors ever (I'll tell you more about that when it gets released) and I had to really pull a performance out of the straight one who didn't really get that "sex can be funny" dynamic.

We just sat around telling bad jokes for a bit. Hey, it worked.

I suppose the majority of people watching porn aren't looking for on screen chemistry anyway, so if you've got the models and you're putting out the money...

No no they do look for chemistry. They want to see two guys enjoying each other's company.. seeing two guys who are into it is so much better than seeing dull sex between two men who have no attraction or even friendship.

I think the atmosphere of a set helps. I feel like a site like CorbinFisher.com is very rigid, the models appear to be sorta terrified of "Corbin" and when his other cameramen/directors are doing the scene the guys are much more relaxed. Anything you can shed light on there?

Some people are good at creating that atmosphere. Jake is brilliant at it. He's so great at making people feel 100% comfortable with him and their surroundings.
