  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Ask the Pornographer (Mark III)

Meet any other people from Eau Claire since we last discussed it?

I went to film school with the intention of making children's movies.

No, really.
:rotflmao:

I don't know why I find that so funny tonight.

Considering I think you and I share the same love of the kiddos.

And I just printed out a job application to temporarily work in the local School District. :help:

Problem is that I didn't love kids enough. I loved the kind of dark, fucked up kid I was... no good enough.

Possible rejected question coming up (no problem if it is too confidential/personal/secretive).

Jasun, love your website - am always amazed at the timely updates. I notice that you have links on it like a lot of male blog sites have, links that send people to the original content on the publisher's main porn sites.

I notice that they often go through things like refer.ccbill or blueloot etc. etc. What kind of cash do you get back from making such links each time someone visits their sites through yours? Is a good male-porn blog a money-making venture or not, as compared to the work you put into it?

If you feel compelled, feel free to post all financial statements here, along with the last 7 years of taxable-income, purchases, bank account numbers and addresses.

Otherwise, maybe just a round number.

Thanks.. I have a lot of fun doing it.

Truth be known, I make money from very few of those links. All of the Jake Cruise ones are just trackers... letting me know how many clicks I get. I don't get paid for those at all. Many other ones are trackers for other friend's sites so THEY know how many clicks and sales they're getting although no money is changing hands.

My blog is about the porn industry and me personally making it. But for the un-checked access to the porn stars, I make trades. I was able to get interviews with Tommy D, Nash Lawler, Dean Phoenix, Arpad Miklos, Tory Mason, Jeremy Bilding, Mason Wyler, Cody Cummings and the Visconti Triplets. But I don't really make money from any sales that come from most of that because I'm just allowed to do the interviews which does get me traffic to my blog and yes.. I DO get some money for it and the relatively high success of my site means that GDH does pay my mortgage and car payment. But that's about it. I'm not getting rich off of it and it's a LOT of work.

Editing videos, shooting interviews, shooting my behind-the-scenes, hauling out my camera for the "name that dick" posts, checking out every site's updates to decide which I'm going to blog about... it's not a part-time gig.

I've only lived in America for 4 and a half years.
