Ask the Pornographer (Mark III)

OH..

Why didn't he say so?

Anyone who wants private advice or maybe a couple "ins" in the industry if they're interested in modeling for us or any other studio... drop me a PM. I can be a bit more forth coming with info when it's not for public record.

Thanks for your offer but Fingers is pulling your leg. While I think it would be fun to do porn because I'm constantly horny and an exhibitionist plus I'm very creative sexually, it would be an unerasable blight on my resume. I've received porn offers before but have always said "thanks but no thanks."

Jesus I really hate it when people get all "well you know.. I'd never stoop so low as you... not that I couldn't... I get asked all the time.. but I'd never be able to be a scum bag like you..." on me.

Not that you were doing that, exactly, but that's usually where that goes.

It's the reason I shut down another member here when he kept asking me to submit his pictures to all the porn studios I know. He was just wasting my time and hurting my credibility... he had no intention of doing it... just wanted to know he could. Once I got any interest in him he'd remind me that HE was better than porn people and that it would RUIN his life (just like it has mine, apparently) and he'd never ever be so low as to be like.. you know.. me.

I've never ever heard of it before. If they use it on porn sites they've never used it on any I've worked on.

I think this is more of an issue in straight porn. Some of the men use Caverject to maintain erections but many of the actors are opposed to it.

I wasn't that way at all. I have friends who work in porn. They're great guys. The problem is not you; the problem is other industries. If you work at Starbucks a year or two, nobody cares. If you do porn for a year or two, it seriously affects your future employment. I had no pejorative intent in my comment. I like porn and have made some "home made" stuff for private enjoyment.

What's something someone can do whether in public or private to immediately make you turn and walk in the other direction without a word?

I can't think of anything. I was going to say "try to convert me to Christianity" or "start talking about how they're better than me because of their 'faith'," but EVen then I just get in their faces.

What do you consider to be your weirdest date?

The one where my bisexual boyfriend told me he was going to marry the girlfriend I didn't know he had but that he wanted to stay with me and suggested that I also marry a girl and buy the house next to his so we could "share our lives."

Is there another state you'd love to live in if, say, California were to fall to a gigantic earthquake that makes the entire state a warzone?

I like Arizona but I need to be close to water. Florida is nice but I need to be close to mountains and desert, too. Washington is nice but I hate winter. I guess I'd have to join the war.

Ever go through a stereotypical "phase"? Like goth, emo, thug... something sad/ironic like that.

I was a Boy George clone in the 80s for a bit. I also did the whole Grunge thing in the early 90s. I mean.. I'm still a bit of a rivet head.

Meh. it might affect your future employment but it doesn't always... not even usually.

Unless you want to be a kindergarten teacher or a senator.

I'm pursuing a proscutorial career after law school. That would require both a background check by law enforcement plus a polygraph. Porn would definitely kill my chances.

Yeah, maybe.

Like I said, it depends on what you want to do and what community you want to live in.

In some places and future careers it would help. Frank Martino is a real estate broker who's career was built on his notoriety as "Jack Radcliffe."

Do you look forward to getting older, or are you going to go into middle age, kicking and screaming...?

I'm 41.

I get fan mail from 18 year olds about 5 times a week. I had a 23 year old send me naked pictures of himself last week saying that when he's in LA he REALLY wants to meet up with me. My Xtube Channel has comments from guys half my age telling me all sorts of nice stuff.

So you know... I'm thinking that being 41 isn't so bad.

I mean, if the worst thing that happens is that someone asks me about all the 21 year-old ass my husband and I are sharing thanks to my notoriety in porn.. I think I'll live.

You going to start your own porn studio one day? If so what would you call it?

You know.. it's funny.

Before I took the job with Jake Cruise I did briefly think about starting my own site.

I registered DickHarden.com and even started posting here as Dick Harden.

But meh.. I'd rather stay in the role I'm in.

Do lots of uncut guys who decide to go into porn get circumcised before they start their career?

That's probably the most bizarre question I've ever been asked. You get extra points for that.

And no. They do not.

Are circumcised models generally preferred over uncircumcised ones in terms of popularity?

I mean... yes and no. Some fans much prefer uncut dicks (like me) and some don't. Most don't really give a shit either way.

It's harder to get straight guys to suck an uncut dick for some reason. Go figure.

But there doesn't really seem to be much difference, to be honest. We never really care about that either way.

Well, the first part of my question should have been the second part; my logic was if circumcised models are preferred over uncircumcised ones, then men who are uncut may want to get cut so they could achieve greater popularity and get a bigger paycheque.

Thank you for the answer though. :) ..|

To be honest.. we're usually a bit more excited to find an uncut model because there's so few of them and it gives us an angle to use in marketing. But it's like a guy with blond pubes or a dimple in his chin... there are people on both sides who like it and don't like it and the majority of people just care if he's hot with a good body.

I never understood the idea of doing porn for a year or two. I mean, what's the point of doing it if you're not in it to build a career?? It's kind of silly. There are definitely other professions to pursue if you're looking to make some quick cash for college, clothes, etc..

Meh.. virtually all of the models from Fratmen only made that one movie and then went back to college. Most of them became the star of their class for a couple weeks and then they just had a great memory to hold.

Being a career porn maker is a commitment... just doing a movie or two and going back to your life is much more common.

(for instance.. my very close friend *Troy made two porn movies in his early 20s and now holds a doctorate in Extra Terrestrial Geology and is working at NASA on the recent Mars lander. So you see.. you CAN get a good job after you've done porn)

*yes, that Troy.

Are you happy?:)

Hell yes.

I'm married to the man I should have been married to all along. I just moved into a dream house, I have a job I love that pays me more than enough to get by on, I've got a close circle of friends that I love, I've got a great social network and I'm very active in my community.
