As far as porn as career goes, do you feel a lot of porn stars do porn not because it's something they've aspired to do or rather something they wound up in?
Many porn stars are former fitness models or bodybuilders. I also know that adult video talent scouts often go to fitness conventions and other events to hire potential workers. Do you think a lot of men start off as fitness models first but settle for porn because they didn't reach mainstream or significant success in their former aspiration?
PS: I know a lot of my questions come off as negative towards the industry or trying to "bash" it but that's not my intention at all.
Another question I have is about models who are not out, or models who identify (or actually are) straight men. I know you've said in the past that you let the models know upfront that if they do gay porn for any high traffic site like
Sean Cody Jake Cruise, etc. that it will end up being discovered by everyone they know at some point.
My question is, how does that sit with most new models? Do they already come in aware of the risks and what they're getting into or is it something they tend to reconsider? Can you tell us about any men that have had their lives ruined or had their porn past come back to haunt them? Not expecting you to mention who, but some details on their situation is what I'm curious about.
Last question; as far as straight men in porn, and I mean real straight men, not ones who identify as straight but are really just confused... when model scouts find them, what exactly is the method of convincing a hetero male to have sex with a man on camera for the world to see? Rob Navaro from MilitaryClassified has actually said that he tends to find many models through craigslist by first impersonating a hot woman online to lure them in and eventually reveal that it's for a porn and I'm not sure what specifics there are.
Do straight men actually come to the gay porn industry looking for work or are most of them recruited by scouts?
PS: why wouldn't you want kids?
