Okay, so to confirm our plans so far, we're going to be meeting at 219 West around 8:00PM on Saturday August 2, 2008 for dinner and drinks, and then we'll be hitting Oil Can Harry's around 10'nish for dancing, and drunken debauchery? :D

If several of us want to go in on a room at a local Hotel, perhaps we can get a decent suite if we split one!

The last time that the GL and staid in Austin, we staid at a "Days Inn" near UTA, for about $40 a piece for the night.

The place sucked, but it was near a really great Denny's!

For about $50 a person or less we can probably get a really nice room for four, with a breakfast!

I've checked the Drury Inn (the preferred hotel of choice for JUB meets), and a 2 room suite, with 2 Queen size beds is a total of $160 per night. Split four ways ain't bad! :D

There's only one Drury Inn in Austin, and it's North Austin, about 12 minutes from Downtown.

Let me know.

Damn...I leave for Austin on Friday morning! And, unfortunately, I have to leave next Tuesday to get to Chicago and then to Michigan!
