Nix the heavy metal and 60 and 70s rock, and that's pretty much my list. However, let's not confuse profound with eruditic lyricists (I'm looking at Mars Volta here).

I just can't stand them. They've always annoyed me. Mick Jagger and his STD filled lips and that guy that looks dead. Omg. Makes me wanna vomit.
 
Now, I never said I don't like Freddie Mercury and Queen. They are one of my favorite artists. I adore Freddie Mercury.

I just can't stand most of the others. But I guess I'm not really into rock. I mean I like some of it. But I love AC, soul, r&B, acoustic stuff etc. I like the really sappy love songs and songs about pain and struggles. And that genre of music just doesn't offer that much of the type of music I love.

I completely and utterly hate that stupid "bay, bay, bay" song. Any idiot can say that over and over again.

Any of the actors in high school musical, that shit is disgusting. It amazes me to no end how a mixture of painful acting, hideous singing, and stupid little dance moves that don't even go together with the ugly-ass songs could possibly get so popular. I will never understand it.

But nothing can top the blood-curdling sound of Paris Hilton. It will be a national holiday when that bitch dies. I cannot stand the fact that this stupid-ass wench keeps getting paid for her acting and singing. She does not know how to show emotion. I cannot believe she is making another CD. That bitch is tone deaf, she sounds like a cartoon crocodile.
 
Beyonce....I think she is very overrated. Her songs and videos are very unoriginal imo.

I agree with you on everythig, except for Depeche Mode, I am a huge DM fan, and Reggaton, Rap/ hip hop is the worst genre ever!
 
Rap and Hip-Hop, two completely different things... Rap is the shit on the radio...

There's not much I can stand on the radio nowadays, except for the rare occasions; Rihanna's Umbrella was just so fuckin' catchy.
 
I forgot about the Beatles as well. I ask anyone to listen to Come Together and tell me they like it without lying. AWFUL. John Lennon in general gets on my nerves, as does Elvis Presley, completely overrated.

Paris Hilton's stuff isn't really music, so it doesn't belong in this thread, it is just painful noise... :P

DANCE MUSIC - i hate it more than anything. it's so generic and it's a genre that had been in decline since the 90s. no creativity, i get the impression they only produce dance music to make money, not as artists genuinely interested in making music.

Most 'songs' from the Big Hair metal bands in the 80s. "Great White" is just ONE example.
