Well, the word 'dookie' conveyed exactly nothing to me. Never heard it used that way before.

If it had, I never would have opened that thread, none of this would have happened, and the world would be a better place.

Well see that is my fault. I specifically put Dookie into the OP because I wanted to convey that dookie was going to occur in that video.

I honestly had no idea there were alternate meanings for dookie.

This is why I don't support a ban. No offense bw. I just don't know where we're going to draw the line of what is offensive. Context is important too. I think that it's up to us who we talk to on this forum. And we have the ability to put people on our ignore list. So if someone is posting a lot of material that I have a problem with, I won't be viewing their posts for very long. Just my opinion of course.

Well, I'm finding some of the arguments against a ban convincing. I still like the idea, but let's see how the poll turns out.

Meanwhile, supposing that's not going to happen, what do people think of a tag that says "Disturbing" or "Disturbing Images" or something? Mods could add it if the poster forgets, or if their judgment about the thread is different from the poster's.

This, of course, would be no good for people who INTENTIONALLY surprise people with gross stuff (that's NOT what happened in this case, but it does happen), but frankly I'm not concerned with their feelings, or even with their freedom from having a roman candle shoved up their ass and lit!

Just tossing around ideas.

I first heard that as "Pound sand down a rathole." The idea being that ratholes have many exits, and pounding sand down one is perfectly useless.
 
My only reply to this shit is: HOT TOPICS...it doesn't belong in HT because there is nothing HOT about scat in the gay world, as a hole. Total fetish. HT is totally abused by crap that is neither HOT nor relevant. HT should be about what is happening now, or a need to know question about something relevant. What the fuck is the fetish forum for anyway, if not for this??

I think it was Willard Espy who pointed out that no one says "sdog" when they want a dog to go away.

I remember being confused by this sense of 'scat' myself. It's from the Greek word for shit, as in 'scatological'.
 
Some people are carrying this thing around way too seriously. I bet half of the people here doesn't even know the thread which causes all the typhoons (but if I'm wrong about that then I'm sorry).

The video which the OP labels as scat video is not scat. Scats are sexual videos with poops, yet the video is more as a dirty joke which is not sexual at all. I mean, it is hosted on YouTube, not YouPorn! I get how some people are disgusted and hate this kind of joke, but turning it this far is just much ado about nothing.

Perhaps this is a lesson to put warnings on the title for lewd topics in HT, but to constantly dump stuffs unwanted to the Fetish forum is just silly and childish.
