Baptist Pastor Happy About Orlando Shooting

So he's a cunt acting like a cunt, i wouldn't give him the publicity he's so obviously craving.

You're referring to religious people who fully accept and respect secularism. That society comprises people of many beliefs and that people's fundamental access to equal rights or free choices should not be dictated by one faith's moral code (or any at all.)

What I think peeonme doesn't accept, is that the gentle virtues of modern day Christians are largely virtues of secularism, NOT inherent to strict Christian teachings, which has no history left to its own devices of being more tolerant of differing beliefs or different versions of morality than any other evangelical religion. Holy wars, burnings, ostracization of heretics... Christianity's got it all in its closet. Christianity didn't stop these things. Secularism did.

You want to say all religion is net negative and at best, encourages people to do decent things that they don't need religion to tell them are good things, but at worst, encourages people to be intolerant and dogmatic and attempt to persecute others? I'm good with that. Want to say Islam inherently does this and Christianity inherently doesn't because it's about gentle tolerance? I'm sorry, that makes me LOL.

"is that the gentle virtues of modern day Christians are largely virtues of secularism", such as love your neighbor as yourself?
"Holy wars, burnings, ostracization of heretics... Christianity's got it all in its closet." yes, when it deviated from the teachings of Jesus Christ. If we go back far enough we will find shit that will stick to the wall of anyone's cave.
"You want to say all religion is net negative and at best", no, some are net negative at best, such as Islam. I have yet to hear a Muslim leader from an Islamic nation condemn or renounce terrorism. If they have I have not heard of it.

Your arguments are weak, to go back to the crusades? Really? You do have more arrows in your quiver than this... don't you?
Get rough, I like it rough.

The true cunt shot up the bar and had sworn allegiance to Isis.

There is not only one true cunt position, both the shooter and the pastor are true cunts, if you want, I can peruse the news and add more, beginning with Donald Trump.

It was reported yesterday that, I believe, this pastor got kicked out of his church.

^

Like I said before, if they take away his licence to preach ...

It was reported yesterday that, I believe, this pastor got kicked out of his church.

The landlord announced he would not be renewing the church's lease and has told the pastor he has six months(or something like that) to find himself and his congregation a new building.

I agree. Well done sir. Well done.

Sadly though, this pastor and his congregation will now run around complaining that they were the real victims of the Orlando shooting and wear their martyrdom like haircloth.

I read that in another article as well. The one I was talking about said the church followers voted the pastor out. It may have been another pastor that talked shit though.

It must have been. I see nothing on-line about this sick fuck getting the boot from his congregation.

Rewatching the clips from his sermon....just leaves you shaking your head and wanting to vomit.

Evangelical Christians did in Uganda what they can't do here. Ever watch God Loves Uganda?

No...not evangelical Christians?

I just can't believe that those lovely people would go to Uganda to promote the Death Penalty for gay people.

Color me surprised...

^ funny how people equate true christians or true muslims = good people

^ funny how people equate true christians or true muslims = good people

That reminds me of the fuck in Arizona or Oklahoma who had murdered lots of women over the course of many decades when he was caught....

...and everyone was "shocked" because he was such a "good man" and always went to church...like what the fuck does that prove? How clueless do you have to be to even say that "he went to church" so he MUST be a good man?????
