No I certainly havent however history shows that that sort of behavior will not disipate until Arab persons stop blowing up western persons. I dont defend it, just noting the facts of the past.

BTW the cease fire of fundamentalists against westerners will occur right about 12 to 14 years from now when their stranglehold on western economies is slackened. As least thats what I believe.

That does not imply that our economy is suffering because of them it implys they control a vital resource. We will be forced over the next ten years to come to grips with that and change. Note that the 'middle names' are all saints.

I recall that he got two confirmation names, though I never quite grasped why.

And he was baptized with multiple middle names, due to some sort of family thing.

We joked he should be glad that at least one of "Gabriel Cyril Gregory" was in there, or his initials would have been "KISS". :eek:

The why of the stranglehold doesn't negate its existence. Recent prosperity didn't negate it either, just hid it.

All you have to do to know that they do indeed have a stranglehold is ask this: What would happen if they stopped exporting oil to the West?

They did nothing. THEY do however control with an iron grip that market. You used fruit earlier. When is the last time the orange producers got together and constricted the market because they weren't getting what they wanted in price?
 
My point is they dont monopolize the market by controlling production to produce the price they would like at the expense of every other nation.

For instance people like to pretend China is gonna buy us up but the fact is this economy is killing their asses also. Opec feels the market is saturated and at 54 bucks a barrel they need to control the output until it hits 75 cuz they feel that is fair.

So in this economic environment how does it feel for Chakib Khelil to tell ya you should be paying more for gas? That is a grip on the worlds productivity not just us in the US.

That is capitalism though so I guess you support not putting any limits or regulations into the market right?
