Barack Obama Promised A New Kind Of Politics, But Played The Same Old Game

I was getting notices from the Texas registrars for a couple of years after I switched my registration to Colorado. I actually had to write them and tell them I was no longer in the service and to please take me off the rolls. So yes it can happen.

So your mail was forwarded for several years? Must be an odd US Postal service you belong to as I move about every two years and if they uphold the six months that they are supposed to fwd then it is a miracle. Either that or you changed your address to Colorado with Texas and they still thought you were a citizen. That would be backwards.

Thanks.

The situation is not that uncommon. We just have to be thankful that honest Americans don't abuse the system.

Both honest democrats and honest republicans.

Again that is anecdotal and not realistic in my view after having moved about so much. So where is that proof that people vote in multiple states?

No my registered address was in Colorado while I was Active Duty. Military personnel can retain their state citizenship no matter where they are stationed. I switched my residency to Colorado after I retired.

Ahhhh so in reality Texas was still under the impression that you were their citizen because you failed to inform them within the required 6 months... That I can see. Quite a unique situation.

The time to change voting laws or ID laws or anything of the sort is right AFTER the elections. Because the only way to avoid one party passing laws that benefit it and harm the other is if you give the new laws enough time to see how well they work before you implement them in an actual election. What has been happening this year has been nothing short of deliberate sabotage because it is very obvious that the laws Republicans have been trying to pass harm almost exclusively the groups that traditionally vote for their opposition.

Illegals, the dead and multiple voters traditionslly vote Democrat, as you say. In fact illegals are being bused in to the Dem convention.
