I have to admit. This my first thought. A double bill.

Looking forward to both when they come onto the small screen. I am too old for double bills unless they start at 11:00 am.

Aren't there any cinemas near you that start showing at around noon on weekends?

Yes. On weekends.

That is when my partner and I book our tickets...because we can't be out after dark :rotflmao:.

My idea of brunch is either a serving of nachos and 'cheez'...and we can now buy wine/beer for our viewing pleasure.

I live for movies but have no interest in either of these.

I will grab both of these if/when they appear in warez but to go to a cinema? What is a cinema?

So which movies do you live for?
There are so many. Anything by David Lynch, Todd Solondz, Lars Von Trier, usually Gregg Araki and maybe Gaspar Noe now that he's finished with his edgelord phase.

But before you peg me as an art film snob, please know that I just ordered blu rays of "Final Exam", an 80's Halloween ripoff that thinks it's Animal House 2 wherin literally NOTHING happens, and Satan's Children, a pathetic monstrosity from the 70's that manages to be both homoerotic and homophobic.

Don't worry, I admire art-film snobs (as long as they're not snotty about it). By the way, I think we can't trust Gaspar Noé: he could return to his edgelord phase at any time.

I don't suppose you've ever seen Zombie Strippers ...

I considered this. I read somewhere the way to enjoy this double feature is "Oppenheimer" at 11 AM with a black coffee, and "Barbie" at 4:30 with a Diet Coke.

Margot Robbie was on CBS Sunday Morning today. Love her. And Mo Rocca hosted!

I won't be seeing the Barbie movie.
The shade of pink (Barbie Pink?) that's prevalent makes my eyes hurt and gives me a headache; couldn't watch the trailer.
It's been that way since I was a kid...

We only plan on watching it on the small screen at home, so if necessary, I can wear sunglasses or put it on pause

Greta Gerwig’s pink-coated fantasy comedy has surpassed $1 billion at the global box office, including $459 million in North America and $572 million internationally. This makes Gerwig the first-ever solo female filmmaker with a billion-dollar film.

Eat your heart out, Ben Shapiro and all you other right wing hacktivists.
