I think safe sex should be practiced. The only time I think it is ok to not wear protection is when you've been in a relationship for a while and know that you can trust each other fully. I waited 3 months before my boyfriend and I did anything unprotected. Protection is a must if you're single and fooling around with a lot of guys.

I agree 100%. I think people should always wear a condom when they are having sex. I would never do it unprotected though. Hope that doesnt make me a pussy haha.

It's a turn-on because we've made it naughty and a fetish.

There's a discussion in the straight porn world about porn for men versus porn for women. There's a market for women for videos that focus on romance and passion because they feel that most porn objectivizes women and focuses on fetishes like big tits, facials and ass-fucking- fetishes that straight men have but don't necessarily get in their real sex lives with a wife or a girlfriend.

The major porn studios started using condoms late in the game in the mid-80s because of concerns that so many performers were dying of AIDS but also because there was a lot of pressure from AIDS organizations to set an example that safe sex is hot sex.

What is disconcerting is that so many of the major studios routinely do bareback porn that is no longer a fetish and it's becoming normalized again. It just make me wonder where do we go from here- what is the next "fetish"?

It doesn't feel that much different with condoms. I think that's a total myth. I would feel much better and safe with condoms during sex. I would NEVER go bareback. Its disturbing that so many porn studios are going bare nowadays.
 
I think it's the thought of being 'risky and dangerous' that turns the man on, alone with the enhanced sensation. The risks outweigh the benefits, as always.
