He was definitely not great tonight,but it is interesting most of the guest performers this season,if they were performing as contestants,would deserve to be ripped for the very same flaws that the contestants themselves get ripped for.But Barry Gibb and the Bee Gees were great performers and songwriters and definitely weren't icky in the '70's and '80's.

Ok, I´ll concede it... but that was like 1972? or what?... he really lost is fast, cause by 1977 he was way icky.

Oh, for PeTe's sake, (golly, I'm clever...;) )

He's not 'icky', he's just getting older. I hate to be the one to break it to you, but it's going to happen to ALL of us....

But vocally...yeah, it wasn't his best night.

I've never been a big fan of his, but he IS a gifted songwriter who's written LOTS of great songs. (Islands in the Stream ? who knew ?)

And yeah, he's still packin' in those jeans of his....we should all be so lucky to even wear jeans when we're his age....
 
Man I was crazy about the Bee Gees as a kid! I also really loved Andy Gibb! (He was not part of the Bee Gees group for those of you who didn't grow up living and breathing this music! LOL) How tragic that both Maurice and Andy Gibb died young deaths. Andy Gibb was 30 and Maurice Gibb was 53. Can you imagine losing 2 brothers so soon? :(
